This is a great place to get your car serviced. I got my Honda an oil change and asked them to check the struts and anything else that may need attention since my last visit at the Honda dealership said I needed my rear struts replaced. They confirmed I needed that replaced, and I got several quotes, one for the rear struts alone and another for both rear and front strut assemblies. I chose the latter, and have no problem at all with my car. I'm glad they're in Vacaville, much closer to home and also more efficient than having it done at the dealership. They were able to get the project done in a day even though I was fine waiting overnight for the car. I'll take my car to them from now on to make sure that it runs well and I have no further issues. ~ Steven C

The whole experience was nice from the initial phone call with Edwin he was polite, friendly and concerned and when I took a little bit longer then expected because my car was breaking down on the road he called me back to make sure I was okay. Ezno was also very polite and friendly he was helping me to get financing and was giving me great prices because he knew my situation of being a single mom. The Master Mechanic J that works there is quick and thorough he really knows his stuff. He was also very patient because I was kind of hovering over him and asking him questions for my own knowledge. I know that could probably be annoying but he was very nice and courteous and told me that I could ask him anything that I wanted and I didn't bother him at all. lol I highly recommend these guys! ~ Candice O

After hitting an unknown object on interstate 80E, my vehicle was towed to Good Guys Tires & Auto for a spare wheel and tire. Although the shop didn't have those items, once being brought a factory wheel and tires from 1 1/2 hours away, the team dismount the destroyed wheel and tire and mounted a serviceable wheel and tire for free. They told me sorry for having to wait so long in the hot sun for a tow truck and thanked me for my military service. Every individual I was in contact with while waiting was nice and offered to help. The gentleman that work at this shop are genuine, courteous, and respectful of each and every individual that walk into their business. This is a great place to do business. ~ Glass

Not just good guys, great guys! We were on vacation from the UK in our borrowed Corolla, and the alternator died on us (Not much else to go wrong with the trusty Toyota) after stopping off in Vacaville on our way down from Mt Shasta. Went off a recommendation from Autozone where we had the alternator tested, Good guys gave us the best price we were quoted anywhere in town, and got the part ordered and fitted for the next day, meaning we could get straight on the bus and continue our vacation without missing a beat. I came in today when my “low tire pressure” light came on while driving on a road trip. I googled tire shop and this came up; so glad I stopped by. Abe was fantastic. Even though the shop looked pretty busy, he managed to help me right away (I called prior). He checked all 4 tire pressures with a gauge and told me the issue wasn’t in the tires itself, but the system just needed to be recalibrated. Don’t know what that meant but he walked me through on how to recalibrate it and explained why the light even came on in the first place. All this done in about 5 minutes and no charge. What an awesome dude. I don’t live in Vacaville but if I did and needed new tires, I’d go to them just based on this positive experience. ~ Chantha t

Was stationed out in Travis some years back. Abe and his boys replaced my set of tires, hooked me up with an alignment/rotation, oil change, replaced my brakes all over a period of numerous years while I was in the Vacaville area. Eventually I'd learn how to do my own oil changes, but I'd always come back to Abe and his guys for things outside my scope. Even though we ain't close or nothing, guy always made sure I was doing alright. Small gestures mean alot. Kinda weird my journey in California began with him and ended with him. Saw him after completing my trip across the states via I-40 for the first time, and saw him again right before I left California via I-40 again. Good peoples. And work in a timely order. ~ Sherman

Good guys tires and automotive is the place to go! . I found this place around the corner from my work and I couldn’t be any happier. Abe and his crew are very helpful . Always willing to help out and always honest with the repairs. Very detailed on what they are doing to be doing. Abe will always make sure you happy with your purchase and will give you options on what tires you would want . He’s not just gonna sell you the top dollar ones and gonna have buy those only . I called 4 tires stores and not one of them was willing to put it the effort like Abe did .His options are great and prices are perfect thanks good guys. ~ alex c

Abe and his crew did some quality work on my Audi A5 by replacing front suspension parts, fixing an oil leak , and getting me back on the road with a new water pump. All of those services took place over a few months last summer and the car has run great since. They are a small operation so you may need to leave your car with them a little longer depending on the job you need. Their pricing was always very close to their estimates and they even sent back a part that did not need to be replaced which saved me several hundred dollars. Overall, I’m very pleased with the work they did and would definitely go back again. ~ Mark H

Abe is very professional and courteous. My personal mechanic passed away 2 tears ago and I was fortunate to find this place to fill as my new to go to auto repair and maintenance shop. They are honest and do their best to fit you in. They did work on my Chrysler 300 last year and when I took it in for routine maintenance last month, they said that one of the parts they had replaced is faulty/defective so they replaced it again with no charge. Best Repair shop in town I’ve had nothing but great experiences every time I come by! My brakes were completely done Edwin was so informative and showed both my wife and I the wear and tear before shooting down a price (nowadays shops tend to do this often !) we were given options on packages and ended up with a great pric.. not only that but when my wife’s car broke down during these holidays he helped us out with another great price ! Late review for my rav4 2007. They did an assessment and told me my car needs new rotors and pads replaced. Also replaced the serpentine belt.Got my car same day.Also did our Highlander 2011 which has multiple issues they found and thoroughly explained my options. It was an engine out procedure and it took a while. They fixed it and also gave us discount.Highly recommended team and professional. Thank you Abe and team. I went to Abe at the good guys tire shop for 22-in tires for my 2008 Dodge ram diesel and he sold me a great tire at a fair price! They were very professional and their work was what I would expect out of myself!! Thank you very much Abe for being a good businessman!! I would highly recommend this shop!! I sold the diesel so I don't have pictures of it with the tires but this is what I'm building now to give you an idea of what I expect out of myself and what Abe provided me for my truck! ~ Kenneth P

My car needed some significant repairs including replacing both lower front control arms and ball joints. Good guys was the most reasonable quote and hundreds cheaper than bigger shops and chain stores. They were quick to respond to messages. Got me in the next day, and did great work. There was a mixup in parts(they caught it once the car was lowered from the lift) that resulted in having to undue all the work they originally did and me having to leave the car overnight to complete the next day. The owner told me his original quote was now off by $200. I voiced my frustration at having the higher cost, not knowing about it, and having to leave the car and he was more than willing to make it right! Rarely do you see that anymore, I was blown away. On top of that, they value our military and offer a military discount (never required but always appreciated). I HIGHLY recommend the team at Good Guys. Professional, courteous, appreciative of your business, and pleasant on the phone and in shop. I can’t say enough good things about these good guys. Will definitely return for future needs. ~ Tim G

These guys have been great and provided the assistance I needed after Mazda of Vacaville refused to fix damages on their part for nearly 3 months. Good Guys Tires and auto were generous enough to assess the damage at no cost and offered to find the most cost efficient method of fixing it.
